The delivery and installation of lighting equipment and a chromakey background was carried out in a studio stage of 400 m2.
Within quite a short space of time the Moscow Film School managed to gain a reputation of one of the best profession-oriented education institutions on the territory of the Russian Federation. Their principal task is education and training of the specialists for all spheres of the film industry in the conditions as close to the real production as possible.
In November 2014 the construction of a large studio stage of the Moscow Film School was completed. DNK Corporation was one of the system integrators of the project.
DNK Corporation specialists were tasked to provide the school with lighting equipment. The key point was the timely delivery of the equipment; otherwise the film school simply could not start the training of students in time.
Besides the punctual delivery, the Moscow Film School needed assistance in the selection of the equipment taking into account the specific character of the order. At the same time the collaborative work with the customer had begun long before the list of equipment was compiled - at the stage of drawing up of the construction working documentation. Engineers of DNK Corporation, based on rich personal experience in the construction of film studios, provided various consultations in the preparation of the specification, working documentation and other issues.
The project was implemented in less than three months. DNK Corporation specialists easily met the deadline, so the customer managed to launch the learning process without delay and was able to fulfill the obligations to the students and teaching staff. The structure of the stage is different from the average film set. In the Moscow Film School there is a chromakey zone, the scenery, the classrooms built into the studio. Now the School is equipped with all the necessary for shooting and post-production. Various tutorials at most close to real the conditions are now held here.
In addition to teaching students, open workshops for distributors and equipment manufacturers are regularly held in the new studio stage of the Moscow Film School. Thanks to the professional work of the system integrator, the School has received the most powerful resource base and technical support, which does not concede, and in some cases even exceeds, the real conditions of modern film production.
Project Result
With the advent of its own pavilion, the Moscow Film School started educational programs for all specializations in the field of film production: directing, camera skills, screenwriting, producing, sound design, VFX, etc.
